It has been said that what you think, believe or ingest, you become. In our fast-paced, demanding and consistently evolving society, it has never been more important to nurture your body, and your mind.
From the early days of Jane Durst Pulkys’ life, she struggled to find her confidence. Surrounded by eight siblings, every day was a challenge for her to rise above her own self-proclaimed inadequacies. At twenty-one years old while in New York City, she had an epiphany that brought on an awareness of her utter lack of inner strength. From that day forward she made it her mission to grow that confidence, and in turn, to teach others to stand tall.
As an entrepreneur and trained nutritionist with a highly successful holistic practice, it wasn’t long before she was dealing with issues that went much deeper than what her clients were putting in their mouths. Jane quickly became their confidant and counsellor, and learned that many people’s health issues were far deeper rooted in their lack of self-worth, confidence, and self-love.
When a thirteen year old girl came to see her with zero confidence, it took her right back to herself at that age. In that moment, she knew that she could help change this girl’s life, and it was their connection, journey and work together that inspired the creation of The Book on Confidence.
This book shares many of the tools and techniques Jane herself used and prescribed to countless clients to help them stand tall and to take control of their lives. “It is my personal goal for this book to teach people how to regain their self-worth — to expect the best, be the best, and to live their life with total confidence from the inside out” says Jane Durst Pulkys.
